BAAT - Barbados Association of Architectural Technologists (N.G.O.)
The Barbados Association of Architectural Technologists (BAAT) is a self‑regulating, non‑profit professional association for Architectural Technologists, Technicians, and Draughtspersons in Barbados. Registered with the Corporate Affairs Department in October 2003, BAAT exists to strengthen the profession through accreditation, ethics, and continual upgrading as building technology evolves.
Our aims include:
- Advance professionalism and increase members’ knowledge and skills.
- Foster quality and competence in Architectural Technology.
- Encourage continual upgrading to remain current with changing technology.
- Establish and enforce strict ethical conduct for members.
- Inform the public about BAAT’s purpose and the value of accredited practitioners.
- Promote a harmonious relationship among members
